You will find delicious shoyu based ramen at Rinsuzu Shokudo and the tsukemen is fantastic as well. Sure you can choose to have that at Rinsuzu Shokudo, but why trek all the way out there just to have those items since plenty of other ramen establishments serve amazing shoyu ramen or tsukemen. No, you have to try their signature cold lemon ramen. The soup is clear and delicate, almost like a consomme broth but the entire bowl is laced with fresh lemon slices. A liberal portion of sesame seeds and thinly sliced charsiu on top a bed of crushed ice over the thin noodles round out the ensemble.
This isn’t your average bowl of ramen, but this peculiar concoction works really well. When eaten together, the tart lemon slices, fatty charsiu and refreshing soup make great accompaniment to the thin noodles.
If you’re a fan of fried chicken, their chicken katsu is highly recommended. If you ever find yourself around Oshima , definitely check out Rinsuzu Shokudo.
